BTW Yong, do you mind if I ask you another favor of posting in your blog the steps of how you compiled the SCIM packages with Sun Studio so that we can further benefit from your experience? I think the gist of this excitement is not only the end result (that we finally have a workable input method for Chinese--though this is VERY significant) but also the demonstration (at least as far as I am concerned) that we have a solid, developer-friendly OS in place.
