Hi Aubrey, no, it isn't known bug.
Please try to launch iiim-properties, select "Use Input Method
Switcher application" at "Input Method status and switcher placement",
press OK and then logout & login. (I assume you are using UTF-8 locale
that iiim server will run automatically.)
BTW, it turned out SUNWiiimf pkg has not been updated after 2008.11
due to package integration dock issue. The issue has been corrected
for snv_108 sync.
