On a side note, i915 driver is still far from perfect though. This
system works perfect with Ubuntu intrepid (I got 3D compiz desktop).
On opensolaris snv_108 however, what I get is :
- alt-tab not working initally. Strangely enough, alt-1 alt-2 and so
on on gnome-terminal works.
- if I set "Visual Effects" to "Normal" or "Extra", all I get is white
screen. After about 15 seconds it revert back to normal desktop
(without Compiz), but now alt-tab works :)
In builds 107 and 108, accelerated 3D will not work on any of the intel
graphics chipsets. We upgraded to Xorg 1.5.3 and intel_drv 2.4.2 in
build 107 and needed to get drm updated to 1.5 to work with it, which
only went into build 109.
