I'm short on places to hook up hard drives and considering removing the internal DVD/cdrom drive to be replaced with a 500gb hard drive.
So wondering if I can make my OS see a usb or firewire connected CD-Rom in the event I needed to boot from live-cd for emergency maintenance or the like.
