VirtualBox-2.2.4 and OSOL-2009.06 do not get along. I installed OSOL in a virtual machine, but when I boot off the harddrive I get some glitches on the console (something gpx is trying to start I guess), but htat stops and I get a console login prompt. So, osol does not start to gdm in VritualBox-2.2.4 Is this a known issue w/ indiana or should I blame VirtualBox?
I had some funny behavior with this combination, including non-boot and console login only. Also had a strange realloccg: / filesystem full at one point when booting the VM off the live CD. Basically I have the pair working now with the VM having 896MB memory, and the video card with 64MB. I did also notice that there were strange pauses at various times. I can't pin reasons down for these, and cannot reliably reproduce them. But eventually the combination does work.
