If it's in development, that's great, although without knowing any details
about it, it's hard to say whether it is what is needed, or something else.

So what is it?

I'll be quite open and honest in stating that "but it works on a single system,
for a single user!" is the approach Sun took for years when implementing new
technologies. For example, zones are one such perfect example, especially if we
consider, that there can be up to 8192 zones per system. The tools provided
were focused on a lone developer's system, not on server farms with tens of
thousands of systems in lights out management environment.

Which is precisely why it was a nightmare and lots of political games, to push
such a solution through in an enterprise environment.

And it should not be that way.

My stance on this is: if it is developed to work for an ulimited number of
systems (like JumpStart(TM) + Flash(TM)), then it will work with ease on a
single user's system because it was designed to SCALE.
