But will he be able to do the following: - create true hierarchichal bundles and work with namespaces, like sgi inst(1M), IBM's instalp(1M), and HP-UX's swinstall(1M) can handle? - specify which subsystems / subproducts are installed by default? For example, ssh.man would be installed per default (marked "D"), but ssh.doc would not, unless explicitly selected by the installation profile, or the sysadmin? - support image-like installation, like Flash(TM)? - be able to insert, remove, or otherwise manipulate configuration files of appliactions which do not implement INCLUDE keywords? Hey, I've got 22,000 servers to worry about. "Works on a single user's system" just wouldn't cut it! Even if I wanted to, I couldn't possibly muck around 22,000 times! I don't believe I'd be done during my lifetime! -- This message posted from opensolaris.org _______________________________________________ indiana-discuss mailing list [email protected] http://mail.opensolaris.org/mailman/listinfo/indiana-discuss
