What I see here:
  http://www.genunix.org/distributions/indiana/

Appears to go up to 2009.6 of May and no builds beyond that one, which
is 111.

The other files there have the format:
        osol-1002-118-x86.iso

And don't appear to be 2009.6 based. (What are those?)
Since 2009.06 was released, the new builds are pre-releases of 2010.02 now.

So how are the build *iso named?

Is a files with name like `osol-1002-118-x86.iso' the 118 build of
2010.02.

Yes.

If so then where does the 1002 come in?

It's an abbreviation for 2010.02, in the same way 2009.06 reduced to 0906.
