you mean the other indic alphabets?

having observed all these for quite some time, these are two ways of providing solution to a common problem.

use place of articulation as you have been maintaining, remember the rule and pronounce or be a native tamil person.

keep it simple. represent it with another alphabet.

it definitely needs little effort in my opinion than to remember the places articulation or become a habitual tamil user.

this is what other languages around do, in my opinion.

it may be right to say Tamil's method is scientific but to call others are not is stupid.
