Air Force chief Marshall Hanafie Asnan told the press here Tuesday he regretted some parties suggesting the government to seek foreign help, because it will only smear Indonesia`s national credibility. "I do not agree with such an idea, because we are a sovereign state and we must raise our own capabilities without foreign help whatever the reason," Asnan said. He reiterated that the Air Force will always be ready to support efforts at maintaining security, especially that a state of civil emergency has been declared in Maluku.
