Well, one of the students at our sight tried putting every one of our
10,000 users into a PTS group. He got a few thousand in, but each
user took longer than the previous one, and "pts adduser" would often
complain about quorum problems. We deleted the group.
A few hundred people should be okay, even maybe a thousand, but I
wouldn't want to push it much past that. If you do have the above
type of problems, try using 2 or 3 separate groups to accomplish the
task.
