That's only true in some portion of the requests posted publicly to this
list.

Such people are obviously blind to the possibilities of dealing with
unmergable files already inherent in CVS -- methods that do not require
giving up concurrent development.

He didn't say anything about reverting to using file-at-a-time tools
like RCS or SCCS.
