Jeremy, I was using old notify_unix from 2.0.13 since I changed the format of the output string a little bit; I will try to recompile with the new one and see if it is any change. By the way, it locked on connect(.../var/notify_unix) when the traffic was high and kept sendmail and lmtpd in memory. However, at some point it went thru but could be hanging for 10-20 minutes
