I felt the same way til Friday, not being real sure about adding the open source material to Sharepoint, talked with an MS rep on Friday, added the role this weekend, only to realize my 2 gigs won't be able to do much. One could even create a workstation in the virtual network to see how it all plays together.
Now to find/buy some more memory. We have a few servers but they have not become unmanageable. I am looking toward reducing the number of servers we have but a centralized scenario is not in the near future. For domain controllers are you going with the Microsoft's suggested 2008 Standard with 4 gig of ram or are you putting 2008 Enterprise with more ram on the domain controllers?
