It looks like there are plans to address this feature in Caiman. Pg 39 of http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/install/caiman_arch.pdf 8 Initial installation and upgrade must be supported in both off-line and live forms Jumpstart Service I assume Initial installation of "live forms" is the same thing as being requested.
