Hi Sarah, I see the same problem on my AMD Turion 64 laptop. I have 512 MB RAM. The installation hangs at "Transferring LiveCD Contents" and the progress bar shows 81 %. I have tried the installation thrice now, and everytime it has hung more or less at the same percentage of progress. The CD is getting accessed continuously but there is no progress.
The system becomes completely unresponsive at that point. So I cannot have a terminal and check the contents of the install logs. Thanks & Regards, Sambit This message posted from opensolaris.org
