[install-discuss] snv_46 install freezing

I'm trying to install snv_46 onto an IBM a21m laptop I have.  850Mhz P3, with 
384mb of ram.  Every time it freezes on the "Installing JDK 5.0 Runtime Env. 
(1.5.0_08)".  There's no apparent reason either, no messages displayed, disk 
and cdrom activity just die.  I let it sit for well over an hour and there was 
never a change.  I couldn't find anything on the forums; anyone have anything 
similar?  Ideas on what else to try?
