Oh. How about s/is commonly done/was commonly done/? That was we can avoid

Sorry, I'm confused — I'm more than happy to acknowledge people, but
RFC9229 / draft-ietf-babel-v4viav6 were both written by Juliusz Chroboczek,
who is also an author of this document. Obviously Juliusz deserves credit,
but I think it would be odd to credit him in a document where he's also an
author.

I suspect that I have missed something though, because you said "authors",
so I think I may be completely misunderstanding what you said.
