And the option to find something from a list?
The Device List view will let you sort by status, name, address,
probe type, etc. And Find will search every column of every row. It
can also be filtered by any combination of status.
If you really want to see the device in the Map/Icons view once
you've found it in the List view, then choose 'Show in Map' from the
contextual menu. This action is also the default double-click action
for devices in the List view, so you can probably just double-click
the item (unless you've changed the double-click action for the
device, or the probe defines a different one).
