In my environment and how I created my maps, it makes sense that the same
device on different maps have different notification timings/paging targets
in certain situations.  I hope that such a feature would be the default, but
optional.

I would like to chime in here regarding this issue.

Although the new feature where you only poll a device once for several
probes it makes little since to alarm off of all of the probes.

Please consider adding this ASAP!

No. For notification purposes, the devices are still independent. We can
certainly consider that possibility as an option for the future, though.
I don't think it's something we'd do for 4.6 at this point.
