Nice to see some VLAN data getting into IM!
It seems, though, that it's only showing the first VLAN, and that
is in
99.9% of the time, vlan 1.. :-(
We're showing the native vlan for the interface, that is, the
default vlan for untagged traffic.
Would it be possible to make a vlan list?
Cisco IOS style would be ok:
vlan: 1-10,23,25-50 ....
Yes, would it be useful to delineate the tagged vlans in parentheses?
For example, here's what I'm thinking, where 1 is the native vlan:
Vlans: 1 (2-10,23,25-50) [802.1q]
In cases, where untagged traffic is disabled, the 1 would change to
None. In cases where tagged traffic is disabled or
there are no more vlans:
Vlans: 1
Also, would it be possible to show what VLAN mode it's in? Trunk,
and if
it's .1Q or legacy.. ?
We have the encapsulation type, 802.1 or ISL. So, the status window
could look like this:
Vlans: 1 (2-10,23,25-50) [802.1q]
or
Vlans: 1 (2-10,23,25-50) [ISL]
What do you think?

Bill Fisher
