I do "grep <device_name> Event\ LogXXXXXXXXXXXX.txt" to achieve what you guys are asking for, if I'm understanding the request correctly. You can also do "tail -f Event\ LogXXXXXXXXXXXX.txt | grep <device_name>" to get real-time event status for a particular device. Is that not sufficient?
