What I am hoping to do in the meantime is to create a new log in Server Settings and then create a commandline probe to write alarm events directly to the new log file. That way you can access the log file using the GUI. Unfortunately updating the log file doesn't appear to auto-refresh the log in InterMapper. I could be missing something but this is what I am endeavoring to do at the moment.
