Janice,

I am adding member probes to a group, these member probes are targeted at a
specific interface of a device, an unnumbered interface at that.  So the
relevant info for that probe is interface specific, one of the parameters
that is set in the interface and passed to this custom SNMP probe is the
index of that interface.

Actually ideally it would be great if there was a standard way within an
SNMP probe to pass back value that could be used for the label the member
probe that would be different for each instance of the probe.  Again ideally
this would need to be a variable value that could be set based upon
information returned from an OID or that could be set based upon a parameter
configured at the time you set the probe.

I hope this makes sense.
