Thanks for the response. Yes, IMDC was upgraded along with InterMapper. 
However, what I eventually realized was that I should stop and then restart 
IMDC. When I did that, we were again able to access the DataCenter web control 
page, and InterMapper was able to access both the Reports Server and 
Authentication Server. Hopefully, this note may help others who run into a 
similar problem.

Also, there is a documentation glitch you might want to look into. The ReadMe 
document for IMDC at 
<http://download.dartware.com/im545/ReadMeFirst5.4.5-IMDC-Debuntu.html> 
incorrectly states that the way to query the IMDC version is to enter the 
"/usr/local/imdc/sbin/imdc -v" command. However, the "-v" option is not 
recognized. Fortunately, "--version" does work and reports the following:

InterMapper DataCenter 5.4.5 (2011-07-15T07:32:40)
