Hi SamE:

What version and platform are you running the InterMapper server on?  If it is 
not on Windows or Mac, did you also download and install the InterMapper 
Data-Center (IMDC)?  IMDC comes bundled with the windows and Mac installers, 
but it an additional install on other platforms.

I am running IM and IMDC on RedHat Linux, and I suspect that the Set Kind 
option is part of IMDC.

Thanks for the quick reply! I could not find the 'Set Device Kind' area you 
were talking about. All I see under 'Set Info' is 'Set Address, Behavior, 
Comment, Community, Latitude & Longitude, Poll Interval, Thresholds, Timeout'.

Under 'Set Behavior' there is a drop down 'Map device as:' but the only options 
are Router, Switch, Hub, and End System. Can you not set it for a DC or DNS 
server?[/img]
