Hi SamE:

I looked for information on the Dartware website and I find there was an issue
in Aug 2011 where someone could not set a device kind and a support ticket was
opened for the issue. While the server was running on a Red Hat server, IM
Remote (IMR) was running on a Mac.

I am running IM on RedHat and IMR on a Windows 7 PC.

I also found a reference to the IMDC Database. Did you configure the database
yet? I am wondering if that feature is not unlocked until the DB in IMDC is
configured.

Yes we went over this already, it only has basic options 'Router, Switch, Hub,
and End System'. I was looking for something more specific than 'End System'
such as 'Domain Controller' or 'DNS'
