Hi SamE: I looked for information on the Dartware website and I find there was an issue in Aug 2011 where someone could not set a device kind and a support ticket was opened for the issue. While the server was running on a Red Hat server, IM Remote (IMR) was running on a Mac.
I am running IM on RedHat and IMR on a Windows 7 PC. I also found a reference to the IMDC Database. Did you configure the database yet? I am wondering if that feature is not unlocked until the DB in IMDC is configured. http://download.dartware.com/IMUserGuide50/Content/07-MonitoringNetwork/07-03-Data_Collection/UsingIMDatabase.htm Randy -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of SamE Sent: Thursday, March 22, 2012 1:14 PM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: [IM-Talk] Re: More complex device monitoring pcarlson wrote: > I believe the pull down you are looking for is on the Set Info:Behavior > windoid. > Yes we went over this already, it only has basic options 'Router, Switch, Hub, and End System'.
