Making sure it is ifdef'ed nicely would let us leave it in CVS until we get it right and if it causes problems for some people they have a way
Why we need non-working code in main CVS ifdef'ed if we can use perfectly good CVS branch functionality? Just to make life harder to ourselves and the code harder to edit and understand?
