At the moment: "?a_b=foo&a.b=bar" gives $_GET === array('a_b' => 'bar') As I understand it with this proposal: "?a_b=foo&a.b=bar" would give $_GET === array('a_b' => 'bar', 'a.b' => 'bar') It would be nicer for it not to lose the original assignment (a_b => foo) though, perhaps via an INI setting.
