I believe that the PS3 Linux implementation does NOT offer any
hardware-accelerated OpenGL, a common complaint from people who have
wanted to port opensource games to the PS3.

So you wouldn't even be able to do that.  I would guess that PS2 Linux
would be the same situation but I'm not certain.  Maybe the Dreamcast is
the only console (not handheld) with no restrictions on the Linux/NetBSD
ports though that was done by people and not the original company so there
may be missing pieces of the toolchain you'd want to use like SDL and
OpenGL.  It's been a while since I looked into DC stuff.
