Sounds reasonable, you get my vote. I gather that most people in this thread prefer git. As someone pointed out, git is a fair bit faster and has a stronger community but hg OTOH has a lower learning curve. They are more or less interchangeable for every day use (don't hate me, fanbois!) so as for me, I don't really care either way.
