Personal feelings about kernel developers aside, mercurial requires two commands to get a new working copy, git takes one. So ease of use for who? Contributors pushing commits or downstream? Also there are enough cross-platform projects using git to suggest that Windows support for git is no longer an issue. Sure enough, a quick search shows three separate projects providing a non-cygwin git client (mingwgit, msysgit, and tortoisegit) so where is the problem in supporting microsoft's platform? _______________________________________________ ioquake3 mailing list [email protected] http://lists.ioquake.org/listinfo.cgi/ioquake3-ioquake.org By sending this message I agree to love ioquake3 and libsdl.
