Hi!

What I'm saying is that it's fundamentally bad to wake up the device unless
you know that there's a good reason to do so (like an incoming packet)
because it wastes energy. So, doing the timeout loop potentially wastes
energy, unless you can guarantee that you never call OCProcess() in vain.

Isn't it possible to implement a poll() or, better yet, provide a file
descriptor that can be watched to decide whether to call OCProcess()?
