Although this realisation is probably long over due, it isn't getting
any easier managing all of the outstanding issues in ipfilter just by
using my mailbox

So I'm thinking of different ways to proceed, one of which is to use
sourceforge as a home for the project. the only problem being the
most obvious name for the project is in use by someone/thing else
in what looks like the equivalent of DNS cyber squatting there.

Does anyone have any contacts or know the "right way" to go about
asking for a project name to be changed or control of it given to
someone else?

For those interested, I've been playing with sourceforge this year
with the user name of "darren_r". You'll find two projects from me
on there - httpproxy and ipfauth. Of course I'd like to add ipfilter
to that list. httpproxy is a well... you can guess :) ipfauth is
a more fleshed out version of the tool I posted here earlier in the
year and now supports port knocking.

Cheers,
Darren
