Hello fellow iphoners, Following the line of development, and doing things that I had promised, I give you a stable release of the iPhone IU Universal Kit (R34) which you can access from http://code.google.com/p/iphone-universal/source/checkout and test the last snapshot online from http://www.minid.net/iphone/.
This new release brings: - Image grid list. I managed to make a stable and well proportionated image grid like Photos app from the phone. Every snapshot could have several backgrounds, for example, I added loading gif animation for getting a loading effect while the other server loads the images. You can take it off, of course touching the CSS with easy. - I added the new chat interface, you can make the same (but faster, hehe) SMS interface than the iPhone. The code is really simple and very functional. Also, i provide the master PSD file for your photoshop pleasure so you can change the color or do whatever you want with it. - Plastic List examples. In the plastic list examples now you can do mini-banners with easy and combine better with the new chevron images. What I'm working now: - An entire specification for the kit, in english and spanish so you can know how to build all the interfaces with easy. But the best documentation now its the same code. - More original iPhone images to master AI or PSD files so you can customize it for your app (it doesn't have to be the Apple colors) - Headers graphics: buttons, tabs. This is hard but I guess I will get it as soon as possible so you can customize the color and the graphics of your header in a easy way. By doing this there will be few things to work on the framework, leaving just at the end the animation part so we can get a strong, ordered and well coded framework to make web aplications. Any doubts, just post it here I will try to help, answer and, thanks for submitting code to make the framework better.
