To clarify, "silly Apple things" would include not just that, but their App Store rules, banning Flash, etc. In this case, bookmarks can be added using some Javascript in (I believe) Chrome and Internet Explorer. Apple and Mozilla just haven't built in a capability for this yet. I hate ranting like this, but I had to correct my mistake. Please don't take it personally, Remi.
