Eh eh, nothing personal here: i'm not Apple ;-) But i doesn't change the fact that i would be pretty pissed off to discover a bookmark i didn't add by myself… if you can do it without prompting the user, well… dude, you shouldn't ;)
Can't tell for app store banning program, i don't code native app. For flash, you should just give the OSX flash player a try 3 years ago (when first iphone came out) and see how crappy it was. Not including it was, to me, a pretty good choice and i would surely done the same. Now that Adobe fixed all perf issues it used to have, perhaps it was the right time to get it in OS4… but history shows me that for softwares, the less plugin you have, the more stable you stay.
