Rick,

We use only TCP on the ports. One inbound one outbound. 

We also added multiple checks before logging out a client. They should handle the 
latency on the satcom. Did you set the "Client Uses NAT" flag? Without the NAT flag, 
IIM does not use a persistent connection.

What is the problem with the email client? We don't call msimn.exe directly, we only 
launch the default mail client and browser.
