Why? It has no bearing on your question. You asked for things which
could not be merged. I gave you an example. It wasn't a recommendation.

Perhaps you should. Most of the discussion of default routers in those
RFCs is actually about discriminating between not-so-default-after-all
routers. However, it was indeed a poor example under the circumstances.
