Dear Bhutta Sb,
This is a major achievement by the Grace of
Allah. As President of ISPAK, you should
acknowledge the efforts done by some members and
specially Mr Saad Salim to achieve this.
In order to use this moment for the advantage of
industry, let us resolve whatever difference of
opinion existed on this issue. It is encouraging
that PTA has adopted a very positive approach on
this issue. We as members of Internet industry
want to work with PTA to solve the problems and
not to aggravate problems. PTA understands that
there is a legal flaw in the document of license
and it needs to be addressed.
As a good leader, you should be able to mend
differences and get the act of ISPs united. I
suggest that we form a committee to settle the
issue of Royalty with PTA. This committee should
comprise of members who filed the petition as
well as members who did not file.
This is a very trivial issue and as
professionals, we must be able to resolve it.
