Open issues The preview overstates interest when the current instalment’s interest is partly paid. The withdrawal charges the prorated outstanding interest. The posted outstanding is that amount minus what was paid, but the preview shows the full prorated amount. So it’s too high by the amount already paid. This happens after a payment in advance that covers part of that instalment’s interest. The same-day repayment fix covers horizontal allocation only. Vertical products still allocate a repayment on the withdrawal day in due order, and there’s no test for them. Possible problem, not verified: a partial repayment made before the withdrawal on the same day keeps its due-order split when the withdrawal is applied.
