I've done a cherry-pick range to branch-2.

Let me set up a nightly build for this branch, I believe there will be a bunch
of UT failures, but should not be too many problems, just need to fix some
fundamental missing parts I think, for example, we still have namespace table
on branch-2 and it will also be effect by SFT.
