### Apache Hop version? 2.20.0-SNAPSHOT ### Java version? Java 21 ### Operating system macOS ### What happened? In the Git perspective, "Revert file" and "Cherry-pick file" replace the selected file with the version from the commit (or its parent) and commit it. When the file has uncommitted changes, these are overwritten without warning. They cannot be recovered: they were never staged, so git holds no copy (`git fsck --unreachable` finds nothing). The confirmation only asks "Revert 'revert-test.txt' to the version before commit 'ea72a0d'?" (see screenshot). Steps to reproduce: 1. Commit a file with "version 1", then commit it again with "version 2". 2. Append a line to it without committing: "MY LOCAL WORK". 3. Git perspective: select the "version 2" commit, select the file, click Revert file, then Yes. 4. The file now contains only "version 1". The uncommitted line is gone, and Hop's new commit only shows version 2 -> version 1. Expected: warn that the uncommitted changes in the file will be lost, or refuse until they are committed or stashed. ### Issue Priority Priority: 2 ### Issue Component Component: Hop Gui -- This is an automated message from the Apache Git Service.
