we can add whatever we want without updating downstream.
Chatting offline, 4.0.1 will be around for a good while. Might be easier on
folks if could digest both formats.
HTraceConfiguration is an abstract class. Could put some utility there? But
otherwise, Conf is grand. It is a package protected class so go to town
Doc as a follow-on is fine.
Let me review the patch now...
