Review Comment:
   I'm a little concerned about the complexity we're adding here.  I understand 
what you're trying to accomplish by trying to validate all of the properites at 
once and throw an exception that includes everything that's misconfigured.  
However, this is a big shift from the conventions used everywhere else in the 
project and adds a lot of overhead for understanding checks.  
   
   Looking at all of the validation logic, it seems like we could just use the 
standard convention of `Preconditions.check` everywhere and avoid this.  What 
value is this really adding?
