Anshum Gupta commented on SOLR-13942: ------------------------------------- If I have the correct understanding here, this is really scary and gives users a very easy way to shoot themselves in the foot. Also, this exposes the "zookeeper" bit as a public API and relies on things like - zk paths being guaranteed to not change. ZK paths should be implementation details and users shouldn't have anything to do with those.
