No one is proposing that. Tomorrow is just the branch cutting, and docs/tests
etc. can go after that as well.

is still better than forcing him due to the blocker.
I doubt that will be the case, since the release is quite a few days away. But,
now it all rests in your hands.
bq. This should not be so hard, just revert and file a new PR, adding some of
us annoying bikeshedders as reviewers.
Until we know what are the technical grounds for the veto, what is the point of
filing another PR? If it is just to add refguide documents, then we can do so
even now (without the veto or the revert).
