The next step has to be proper benchmarks. We should be able to capture the
numbers on
* query/index performance
* memory usage
* garbage collected
* threads used
* time to restart a node/time to do a rolling restart of the entire cluster
* instabilities like loss of leader/overseer/ZK disconnect etc
There are so many aspects of Solr that we need to be able to measure and report
before we can prevent people from committing code that makes things worse.
