@olamy You do not understand this issue. Read it several time again. the only thing you are doing is deleting the providers. I will keep them whatever you want or not. Remember that. This issue is several years old and it does not say anything about problems with the providers in JUnit4 and JUnit3. We need to have a wide spectrum of providers and we do NOT need to have deletions in 3.6.0 which you imaging in your head with this kind of plan. We are not vassals of JUnit 5 or JUnit6. We should have a wide spectrum of providers so that the people can choose, even the legacy projects. Read the text in this issue and you would understand that you have totally missed the topic. Really totally. Even the implementation you did few years back was a hack, you did not fix the concurrency issue, you made it more dangerous and we have to fix it with this issue after you and your work. If you read my tickets in JIRA, you would understand that the approach you took was the worse than worst, and we have to cleanup after you. I am sorry but it is totally true.
