   @olamy I fully understand what you said several years ago, that we have a 
slow build because we have several providers. Yeas, that's true, but it does 
not mean that we have to make any deletions. This is sick! Nobody was actually 
thinking of moving the providers to a separate Git repo with Git Actions 
running only that provider which has changed. But in that case you need to have 
the boolletprof API between Plugin and Provider and this Issue wants to do 
that. Currently the features of these providers cannot be stable because of the 
hacking, because some data objects are missing and therefore we have to guess 
the test status. After this is clarified, we have stable interface. It is very 
easy to delete something but then you are not able to take it back, and even if 
you do, you would not be able to merge, and yes then many things would be 
simplified but not with deletions but with clear understanding of the Surefire 
architecture. I am sorry to say, but @olamy you are really missing 
 this vision and many people do but this is true, this project is not that easy 
for many developers even in our team and I can see this upon the reactions. Not 
likely to be heard but it is true. Even Maven itself is much more difficult 
than this.
   
   So it's better to start working together, planning together.
